Harmony Day
At Mount Hutton PS, we celebrated Harmony Day, a wonderful occasion that reinforces our commitment to inclusivity and diversity within our school community. It was heart warming to see students and staff come together, showcasing their cultural backgrounds and promoting respect for one another. Thank you to everyone who participated and contributed to making the day a success. We loved eating our orange jelly!
NAIDOC Day
In Week 1 of Term 3, we celebrated NAIDOC Week, and it was heart warming to see our community come together to honour and recognise the history, culture, and achievements of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples. Our students engaged in various activities that fostered understanding and respect, reinforcing our commitment to reconciliation and inclusivity.
Education Week
Our recent Creative and Performing Arts Show was a fantastic celebration of creativity and talent. Students impressed our audience with captivating performances and presentations, showcasing their skills in music, drama, and dance. The event also featured a splendid art gallery displaying amazing artworks created by our talented students. It was truly inspiring to see such a rich variety of artistic expression on display.
Book Week
Our Book Week Parade was a fantastic celebration of reading and creativity. It was wonderful to see our students and staff dressed up and enjoying the day!
Thank you all for your wonderful support of our Book Fair. I am pleased to share that we received $816 in Scholastic rewards, which will be used to enrich our school library and resources for our students.
